Penalties meted on those found guilty of illegal or dangerous handling and disposal of hazardous wastes.


1. Imprisonment for a term not less than two years;
2. A fine of not less than one million shillings;
3. Both such imprisonment and fine;
4. Shall be responsible for the removal of the waste from Kenya;
5. Shall be responsible for safe disposal of the hazardous waste.
