• Environmental Audit is submitted to NEMA annually by facilities to aid in monitoring their activities to ensure sound environmental management.
• Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) is required for programmes, plans and policies likely to affect wetlands
• Environmental Restoration order is issued to stop activities to allow regeneration of a degraded wetland
• Environmental Conservation/Easement order is issued to facilitate conservation and enhancement of the environment through the imposition of one or more obligations
• Wetland resource use permit from a relevant lead agency is required in addition to an EIA license to regulate activities in wetland areas
