Environmental laboratory obligations
What are the obligations prescribed for laboratories designated by NEMA?
1. A laboratory designated, as an analytical or reference laboratory shall issue a certificate of analysis of any substance submitted to it under EMCA.
2. The certificate of analysis shall state the methods of analysis followed
3. The certificate of analysis shall state the analyst or the reference analyst, as the case may be.
4. The certificate of analysis shall be sufficient evidence of the facts stated in the certificate for all purposes under EMCA.
5. The results of any analysis made by the laboratory shall be open to inspection by all interested parties
