Board of NECC

The National Environment Complaints Committee consist of—
1. a Chairperson appointed by the Cabinet Secretary and who shall be a person qualified for appointment as a judge of the Environment and Land Court of Kenya;
2. a representative of the Attorney-General;
3. a representative of the Law Society of Kenya;
4. one person who has demonstrated competence in environmental matters, nominated by the Council of County Governors and who shall be secretary to the Committee;
5. a representative of the business community appointed by the Cabinet Secretary;
6. two members appointed by the Cabinet Secretary for their active role in environmental management.
